Taxonomy
Delphinula submarginata was named by d'Orbigny (1850). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Butte-des-Usages, Cuise-la-Motte (Deshayes collection), which is in a Ypresian carbonate carbonate in the Sables de Pierrefonds Formation of France.
It was recombined as Collonia marginata submarginata by Pacaud (2007).
