Taxonomy
Tectarius (Subditotectarius) rehderi was named by Ladd (1966). Its type specimen is USNM 648342, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 2A (1000-1100 ft), Bikini Island, which is in a Miocene carbonate horizon in the Marshall Islands. It is the type species of Tectarius (Subditotectarius).
