Metastenodiscus kawhiae
Taxonomy
Stenodiscus kawhiae was named by Schäfer and Grant-Mackie (1994). Its type specimen is AU J38a-i and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ar12, Arawi coast, Kawhia (R15/8947), which is in a Warepan marine horizon in New Zealand.
It was recombined as Metastenodiscus kawhiae by Ernst et al. (2016).
