Austrorissopsis fricta
Taxonomy
Rissopsis fricta was named by Finlay (1930). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Castlecliff, Tainui Shell Bed, which is in a Castlecliffian coastal siltstone in the Tainui Shell Bed Formation of New Zealand.
It was recombined as Eusetia fricta by Cotton (1944), Gage (1957); it was recombined as Austrorissopsis fricta by Beu et al. (1990).
