Taxonomy
Urocordylus reticulatus was named by Hancock and Atthey (1869). It is not extant. Its type specimen is HM G25 - 28/30 , a skeleton.

It was synonymized subjectively with Keraterpeton galvani by Steen (1938); it was recombined as Batrachiderpeton reticulatum by Milner (1980).
