Taxonomy
Terebra benesulcata was named by Bartrum (1919). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kaawa Creek, which is in an Opoitian marine sandstone in the Kaawa Formation of New Zealand.
It was recombined as Duplicaria (Pervicacia) benesulcata by Beu et al. (1990).
