| L. Dolin et al. 2013 | La coquille a la forme d’un cabochon, à contour circulaire et à galbe surbaissé. La protoconque est involute au stade adulte. Le canal siphonal, presque imperceptible, s’ouvre légèrement en cornet ; il se situe dans le plan de la sole ventrale, concave, composant un disque calleux, fortement côtelé en étoile. L’ouverture, extrêmement étroite, est adaxiale. Le pli terminal lamelleux se confond avec les excroissances adjacentes. Il en est de même pour l’arête pariétale. Le chenal exhalant, canaliculé mais peu profond, est légèrement recourbé adapicalement. L’angulation est abrupte. Les marges se caractérisent par un pourtour très festonné, résultant de la prolongation sur deux niveaux des cordons rayonnants au delà des contours de la coquille. L’aire dorsale est parcourue par de forts cordons, perlés longitudinalement. |
