Scaphites subglobosus was named by Whiteaves (1885) [DISTRIBUTION: Campanian; Western Interior.]. It is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Rhaeboceras subglobosus by Russell and Landes (1937); it was recombined as Rhaeboceras subglobosum by Cobban (1987).
