Aelurosaurus polyodon
Taxonomy
Galerhinus polyodon was named by Broom (1935). Its type specimen is TMP 341, a partial skull (Snout with part of lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Leeukloof, which is in a Wuchiapingian crevasse splay sandstone/claystone in the Teekloof Formation of South Africa.
It was recombined as Aelurosaurus polyodon by Sigogneau-Russell (1989).
