Sulcocypraea moumieti
Taxonomy
Eocypraea (Eocypraea) moumieti was named by Dolin and Dolin (1983). Its type specimen is U.P.M.C., T. 5001-003, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tuilerie de Gan (Dolin collection), which is in a Ypresian offshore shelf marl/claystone in the Marnes de Gan Formation of France.
It was recombined as Sulcocypraea moumieti by Dolin and Ledon (2002).
