Scylacops capensis
Taxonomy
Scylacops capensis was named by Broom (1913). Its type specimen is SAM-PK-2343, a partial skeleton (Flattened skull with lower jaw and some postcranial elements), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dunedin, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial horizon in South Africa. It is the type species of Scylacops.
