Taxonomy
Pseudopus moguntinus was named by Boettger (1875). Its type specimen is SM (Senckenberg Museum) no. unknown, an osteoderm, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hochheim, which is in a MP 30 terrestrial horizon in Germany.
