Eosaniwa koehni
Taxonomy
Eosaniwa koehni was named by Haubold (1977). Its type specimen is GM XXXVIII 157, a partial skeleton (skull and incomplete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Geiseltal, Mittelkohle, Zone II (Middlecoal, zone II), which is in a Lutetian lacustrine lignite in Germany. It is the type species of Eosaniwa.
