Luponovula quaggiottoi
Taxonomy
Luponovula quaggiottoi was named by Dolin and Pacaud (2009) [1983. Eocypraea rouaulti sensu Dolin & Dolin [non Cossmann, 1923], partim p. 34, fig. 20 (non fig. 19, 21).
1988. Eocypraea (s.str.) inflata sensu Mellini & Quaggiotto [non Lamarck, 1802] : p. 71, pl. 7, fig. 1.]. Its type specimen is MNHN J04456, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tuilerie de Gan (O'Gorman collection), which is in a Ypresian offshore shelf marl/claystone in the Marnes de Gan Formation of France.
