Kargalites (Subkargalites) neoparkeri was named by Ruzhentsev (1950). Its type specimen is PIN 320/5124, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sakmara River, cut 167 km, bed 1, which is in a Gzhelian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Subkargalites neoparkeri by Bogoslovskaya (1990).
