Taxonomy
Peritrochia mullerriedi was named by Miller and Furnish (1941). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North-northeast of CushĂș, on road to San JosĂ© Montenegro, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in the Paso Hondo Formation of Mexico.
It was recombined as Kargalites mulleriedi by Bogoslovskaya (1990); it was recombined as Kargalites mullerriedi by Leonova (2002).
