Marathonites moorei

Taxonomy
Vidrioceras moorei was named by Plummer and Scott (1937). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is B.E.G. 248-T-8 (B-5), Creek NW of Chico, which is in a Kasimovian marine shale in the Caddo Creek Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Marathonites moorei by Bogoslovskaya (1990).
