Taxonomy
Cadurcogekko verus was named by Bolet et al. (2015). Its type specimen is USTL PRA 9, a maxilla (nearly complete right maxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Les Pradigues, which is in a Priabonian karst phosphorite in the Perriere Formation of France.
