Taxonomy
Cyrbasiodon vladimirense was named by Tatarinov (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 4818/35 , a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gorokhovets, PIN 4818, which is in a Severodvinian/Vyatkian terrestrial horizon in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Procynosuchus vladimirense by Ivakhnenko (2012).
