Zonarina abbessensis
Taxonomy
Plaziatia abessensis was named by Dolin and Lozouet (2004). Its type specimen is MNHN-IM-2000-3753, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Abesse, Saint-Paul-les-Dax, which is in a Chattian perireef or subreef limestone in the Falun d'Escornebeou et Sainte Paul-les-Dax Formation of France.
It was recombined as Zonarina abbessensis by Fehse (2007).
