Taxonomy
Miltoceras reductispinosum was named by Hillebrandt (2006). Its type specimen is TUB 790212/2/5, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Arroyo Las Chilcas, bed 7 (sample 790212/2), which is in a Jamesoni carbonate limestone in Argentina.
