Taxonomy
Andicoeloceras primum was named by Hillebrandt (2006). Its type specimen is TUB 680221/5/5, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada Yerbas Buenas (sample 680221/5), which is in a Jamesoni/Ibex carbonate limestone in Chile.
