Taxonomy
Dubariceras crassum was named by Hillebrandt (2006). Its type specimen is TUB 661126/8/3, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada Vaca Muerta, bed 4 (sample 661126/8), which is in an Ibex carbonate marl in Chile.
