Taxonomy
Eupachydiscus depressus was named by Henderson (1970). Its type specimen is AMT.1302, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is W22/f8555, Waimarama Beach, which is in a Haumurian marine horizon in New Zealand.
