Cypraea (Bernayia) singuensis was named by Vredenburg (1921) [DISTRIBUTION: Oligocene; Myanmar.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Singu (Singu stage), which is in a Chattian marine horizon in the Singu Formation of Myanmar.
It was recombined as Barycypraea singuensis by Schilder (1941).
