Taxonomy
Gerandogekko arambourgi was named by Hoffstetter (1946). Its type specimen is MNHN (specimen no. not cited in original description or subsequent refs), a partial skull (frontal), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is St-Gérand-le-Puy, which is in an Aquitanian fluvial-lacustrine mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in France.
