Brevidensilacerta xichuanensis
Taxonomy
Brevidensilacerta xichuanensis was named by Li (1991). Its type specimen is IVPP V 9587.1, a mandible (incomplete right lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xichuan, Hetaoyuan formation, Ligongqiao basin, which is in an Eocene/Oligocene terrestrial marl/siltstone in the Hetaoyuan Formation of China. It is the type species of Brevidensilacerta.
