Dornosaurus gobiensis
Taxonomy
Dornosaurus gobiensis was named by Alifanov (2012). Its type specimen is PIN, no. 3107/321 (frontal with broken anterior and posterolateral ends) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khaichin Ula II [SMPE], which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Khaychin Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Dornosaurus.
