Notosepia cliftonensis
Taxonomy
Notosepia cliftonensis was named by Chapman (1915). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Clifton Bank, Muddy Creek (Vaginella band), which is in a Langhian marine marl in the Port Campbell Limestone Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Notosepia.
