Taxonomy
Kulumbella estonica was named by Rubel (1970). Its type specimen is GIT 130-28, a valve (ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kamari, which is in an Adavere marine horizon in the Rumba Formation of Estonia.
It was recombined as Microcardinalia (Chiastodoca) estonica by Jin and Copper (1998).
