Taxonomy
Eutrephoceras eyerdami was named by Palmer (1961). Its type specimen is PRI 6066, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bend in Cowlitz River, east of Vader, which is in a Bartonian offshore mudstone in the Cowlitz Formation of Washington.
