Taxonomy
Trimerorhachis greggi was named by Milner and Schoch (2013). Its type specimen is USNM 409692, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Craddock Bonebed, Brush Creek, 38 (Arroyo Formation), which is in a Kungurian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Arroyo Formation of Texas.
