Platyspondylophis tadkeshwarensis
Taxonomy
Platyspondylophis tadkeshwarensis was named by Smith et al. (2016). Its type specimen is WIF/A 2272, a set of vertebrae (Posterior trunk vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tadkeshwar Lignite Mine (TAD-1), which is in a Ypresian channel sandstone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India. It is the type species of Platyspondylophis.
