Jepsibaena minor
Taxonomy
Ototriton minor was named by Gilmore and Jepsen (1945). Its type specimen is PU 13460, a skull (skull (lacking much of its roof) and articulated lower jaws), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Davis Ranch, which is in a Bridgerian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in the Wind River Formation of Wyoming.
It was recombined as Jepsibaena minor by Vanzolini (1951).
