Timonya anneae
Taxonomy
Timonya anneae was named by Cisneros et al. (2015). Its type specimen is UFPI PV001, a partial skeleton (skull and partial postcranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Timon, Maranhao, which is in a Kungurian fluvial-lacustrine siltstone/sandstone in the Lower Pedra de Fogo Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Timonya.
