| A. V. Mazaev 2015 (Kazanella) | Shell turritelloid, lateral whorl surface in profile evenly rounded, smoothly joining moderately convex basal surface. Whorl surfaces smooth or possessing numerous thin spiral grooves. Growth lines in first definitive whorls almost orthocline; on succeeding apical whorls, concave with weak labral sinus above midwhorl. Adult whorls with welldeveloped labral sinus. Protoconch orthostrophic, composed of several whorls, typical of orthonematid. Umbilicus absent. |
