Utegenia shpinari
Taxonomy
Utegenia shpinari was named by Kuznetsov and Ivakhnenko (1981). It is not extant. Its type specimen is PIN 2078-1, a skeleton. Its type locality is Kurty locality, PIN 2078, which is in an Asselian/Kungurian lacustrine siltstone in the Kugaly Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Utegenia.
