Taxonomy
Odaxosaurus roosevelti was named by Nydam (2013). Its type specimen is OMNH 30748 (posterior portion of left dentary) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is OMNH V5, which is in a Judithian terrestrial horizon in the Kaiparowits Formation of Utah.
