Sabinosuchus coahuilensis
Taxonomy
Sabinosuchus coahuilensis was named by Schiller et al. (2016). Its type specimen is PAS 952, 945-949, a partial skull (Nearly complete mandible and partial braincase), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Rancho Soledad shale bed, which is in a Maastrichtian marine shale in the Escondido Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Sabinosuchus.
