Pseudochampsa ischigualastensis
Taxonomy
Chanaresuchus ischigualastensis was named by Trotteyn et al. (2012). Its type specimen is PVSJ 567, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Valle Pintado, Hoyada de Ischigualasto, which is in a Carnian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Ischigualasto Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Pseudochampsa.
It was recombined as Pseudochampsa ischigualastensis by Trotteyn and Ezcurra (2014), Ezcurra (2016).
