Kalthifrons aurivellensis
Taxonomy
Kalthifrons aurivellensis was named by Yates and Pledge (2017). Its type specimen is SAM P35062, a partial skull (Poorly preserved skull with incomplete associated lower jaws), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Golden Fleece, Lake Palankarinna, which is in a Zanclean channel sandstone in the Tirari Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Kalthifrons.
