Taxonomy
Donaldina superclivis was named by Anderson et al. (1990). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BBe-1. A core from a coal mine near Philippi, which is in a Virgilian shallow subtidal limestone/shale in the Glenshaw Formation of West Virginia.

Description.—Small, high-spired shell; angular whorl profile; anomphalous; sutures moderately impressed; protoconch of one and one-half whorls, smooth, slightly heterostrophic; aperture suboval to circular; columellar lip slightly thickened, reflected; outer lip thin; basal lip flared; 6-8 whorls present. Teleoconch with thick revolving lirae; ramp extends from adapical suture to mid-whorl; ramp has one revolving lira; convex lower whorl surface with three bold revolving lirae; body whorl with four revolving lirae below ramp; growth lines absent.
