Taxonomy
Dyoros (Lissosia) maya was named by Torres-Martínez et al. (2016). Its type specimen is IGM 10154, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barrio Allende, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal lime mudstone/sandstone in the Paso Hondo Formation of Mexico.
