Taxonomy
Spiratella pseudopygmaea was named by Eames (1952). Its type specimen is BMNH G.68440, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MF.439, Zinda Pir, which is in a Ypresian marine shale in the Ghazij Formation of Pakistan.
