Taxonomy
Kamacops acervalis was named by Gubin (1980). It is not extant. Its type specimen is PIN 3817/1, a partial skull. Its type locality is Erzovka, PIN 3817, which is in an Urzhumian terrestrial horizon in the Belebei Formation of the Russian Federation.
