Listrochiton weiri
Taxonomy
Listrochiton weiri was named by Hoare and Pojeta (2006). Its type specimen is USNM 523919, a valve (Plate I), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 6915-CO. Boyle County Quarry northeast of Perryville, which is in a Chatfieldian carbonate limestone in the Lexington Limestone Formation of Kentucky. It is the type species of Listrochiton.
