Solemys gaudryi
Taxonomy
Aplolidemys gaudryi was named by Matheron (1869). Its type specimen is MHNM 1982-854, a partial shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rognac train station, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in France. It is the type species of Solemys.
It was recombined as Solemys gaudryi by Joyce (2017).
