Taxonomy
Neocrimites guizhouensis was named by Zhou (2017). Its type specimen is NIGP 93711, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shaiwa section, bed 12, which is in a Kungurian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Sidazhai Formation of China.
