Taxonomy
Agasoma columbianum was named by Anderson and Martin (1914). Its type specimen is CAS 155, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Bruclarkia columbianum by Durham (1944); it was recombined as Bruclarkia columbiana by Weaver (1942), Moore (1976).
