Heterorthella precordillerana
Taxonomy
Heterorthella precordillerana was named by Benedetto (1995). Its type specimen is CEGH-UNC 1964, a valve (internal mould of dorsal valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Seccion del Rio Escondido, layer 2., which is in a Rhuddanian marine sandstone/shale in the La Chilca Formation of Argentina.
